Hi, I’m Jared — the founder of Pure Vision Entertainment.Music and events have been a huge part of my life for more than two decades. I grew up playing the tenor saxophone for over nine years, and that connection to music eventually led me into DJ’ing while I was in college. During that time I was also playing collegiate football at Lewis & Clark College, where I later graduated with a double Bachelor’s degree in Business Economics and Communication.
In 2009, I became the resident DJ at what was once the largest country bar in the Northwest, Duke’s Country Bar & Grill, and eventually stepped into the role of General Manager. That experience helped shape my career not only as a DJ, but also as a leader in the entertainment and hospitality industry. During that time I had the opportunity to work alongside and open for more than 70 Nashville country artists, including Jason Aldean, Luke Combs, Montgomery Gentry, Thomas Rhett, and Taylor Swift to name a few.
Since then, my career has expanded into many areas of entertainment. I’ve performed at festivals, large-scale events, bars, clubs, corporate events, and weddings across Oregon, Washington, California, and around the nation, DJing in more than 13 states. Today I also serve as the DJ for the St. Paul Rodeo, AMA Pro Motocross Nationals, and Thursday Night Motocross at Portland International Raceway, while also performing at Red Bull events throughout the summer.Weddings remain my favorite events because they bring people together, create lifelong memories, and allow me to celebrate couple’s story.
What couples often tell me they appreciate most is the energy, professionalism, and guidance I bring to their wedding day. I truly care about the small details that make a celebration feel meaningful — how your parents and family feel throughout the night, how your guests experience the celebration, and making sure the two of you feel completely present while everything unfolds around you. For me, this has never just been about playing music. It’s about helping create an experience that feels personal, intentional, and unforgettable.
When I’m not behind the DJ booth, you’ll usually find me working out in the gym, riding motocross, playing golf, or traveling with my wife and our son. One of the things I love most right now is being able to show him parts of the world that I never had the opportunity to explore growing up.
There are two moments during a wedding that I love the most. The first is the father-daughter dance, which is often one of the most emotional and meaningful moments of the entire day. The second is that moment later in the night when I know the entire room is connected — when the guests trust me to take them on a musical journey and I can feel the energy of the dance floor completely come alive.
